Default This is probably been addressed a thousand times so here's a thousand and one

What do I have to do to put a Model B motor in my model a sedan

Depends on the donor engine.

Can I ask you why you want to install a B engine in an A??

There is a kit you can buy that has the parts needed to do the job. I think the oil pan will need a bit of modification at the rear.

If you are using a Model A gearbox, you will need to remove the bottom half of the flywheel housing that is attached to the back of the sump and buy a new Model A style cast iron flywheel housing. Other than that, you're on the road.
By discarding the B top half of the flywheel housing, you are also disposing of the engine number which is on a boss above the starter motor. Ford didn't put a number on the side of the B blocks. Your vehicle title system is a mystery to me but from what I have read on this site, that might cause an issue.

It is a Gleaner combine motor that is almost like new of course we will go through it and freshen it all up and I really like the idea as a bigger main bearings

Michael,
You do not need to purchase a kit.
Everything you need to adapt the "B" engine is on your soon to be removed "A" engine. The only thing you need to do is cut the lower flywheel housing on the "B" pan to clear the "A" flywheel housing. (Easy!)
You transfer the clutch, flywheel and flywheel housing from the "A" engine to the "B" engine.

If you plan to use your "A" distributor, transfer the "A" front timing gear cover to the "B" engine so the timing of the "B" will be the same as a Model A.
Head from the "A" can be transferred to the "B".

The Gleaner carb and intake manifold may or may not align with the car. If not, install your "A" carb and manifold.
You're done.

I have completed this transfer for customers a number of times.

It will be easier if your engine is from 1932. If it is a '33-34 engine you will need to replace the timing cover (note location of generator mount), water pump (compare length with '32 pump on the left, note distance between grease fittings) and front pulley (sorry, no picture). The good news is that you can use the front pulley from your Model A engine. The 1933-34 engine was shorter and these parts are shown in the attached photos.
