wanted a pair,right and left side splash aprons for a 29 sedan. would love to find a NOS pair, but a really nice pair of originals. would work also. i realize i'm looking for the impossible maybe, but oh well i'll try anyway.

Hi, Hot,
My late father believed in reproduction in this case. He would warm the rustoleum
spray cans up some, and warm the apron very warm on a dry day. With good lighting
he would apply the rustoleum as heavy as he dared (practice), without it running. The result looked like baked enamel! He eventually decided baked enamel did not require primer when he applied it this way. I believe he scuffed very lightly left
to right before painting . Give it a practice try first. Perry.
