Mine did the same thing. Eliminated everything motor related, even flow tested the radiator and it was good...It was the radiator.

Had it re-cored and she runs cool as a cucumber since.

yup my radiator "flowed" very well but still would over heat. soaking in degreaser overnight and back flushing with a old swimming pool pump blasted alot of grease and bug parts out. No more overheating now!
