Front seat frame location help please.
I am looking for a picture of the front seat frame location on 1930 roadster. I had ordered it uninstalled thinking of a custom seat, but came to my senses and want to use stock roadster seat. Thanks for any help.

Re: Front seat frame location help please.
Thanks, but I would really like an actual pic of a seat in the car.

Re: Front seat frame location help please.
Sorry, can't help you on that one. Sold our roadster several years ago. Somebody out there should wake up to this post pretty soon but if they don't, try re-posting it with a new title.

That drawing is far more accurate than any pictures is going to be.

The ford drawing is OK but does not really show what is needed. It deals with the finished interior including upholstered seat cushions and not actual location of individual components. Chris W. |

I have an original 1930 Roadster and I can get the measurement for you when I get home tonight. Not sure if the reproduction bodies are exactly the same measurement but should be close. David Serrano |

Re: Front seat frame location help please.
I have an original body that had the seat riser removed before it came into my possession.
I have a Brookville seat riser that came with the car that I am installing and need the information. Is there a better reproduction that I should use? I think I know where it is to fit but want to verify the dimension. Thanks for everyone's help. Chris W. |

Re: Front seat frame location help please.
I measured from the front of the door back to the front of the seat riser and it is 9 inches. It was dark when I took the measurement so I will re measure in several places later this morning.
