Hi Gents
Aside from moisture can a helmet run without gaskets? Or will the distro (inner cap) be too close to rotor?

A helmet could run w/o gaskets, but why would you want to??
The inner caps do not have a gasket where they locate in housing that would affect contact spacing. The gasket that locates between inner and outer caps also seals inner caps at housing.

I ran our 33 for 30 miles in the worst rain ever last week ,it never missed a beat, I bet it would have with no gaskets in the distributor.
When we first had the 33 it had a remote coil setup, and no gaskets, you only had to wash the tail light and it would,t start. Lawrie Last edited by Lawrie; 06-26-2020 at 04:58 AM. Reason: spelling |
