Re: $20 Fine Radio for your Car!
And here I thought you were going tell us about a $20 fine for having a radio in your A , or, for driving with it turned up too loud.

I always like looking at your Tudor mshmodela. It gives me motivation being that that's the color ill most likely paint mine. Also, what are those two black boxes mounted to the rear bumpers? Turn signals?

Thanks, the two "boxes" are not boxes but theses: http://www.harborfreight.com/solid-r...ock-96479.html I do not 100% trust parking breaks --although mine does work fine. As for colors, I was not a fan of black cars --but I do like black old Ford's so it's going to stay they way...

Actually not a bad idea, because you can tune it to sites like live365 and listen to 20's and 30's music. I bought cd's with old recording of the 1930's and will play them thru my car radio,, which I paid 450$ restored glove box radio. ERverythings expensive at least with the 20 dollar radio you will not have to hear the same songs over and over and over again. Last edited by FrankWest; 12-27-2014 at 03:24 PM. |

Re: $20 Fine Radio for your Car!
MSHmodelA:
Thanks for you post. At our annual Model A Christmas party last week one of our members mentioned this type of wireless speaker. Not being so up to date on whats available in electronics these days I was thrilled about the idea. I checked out our local Costco (Ontario) and purchased one for $39.95 It has a 5 hour rechargable battery off a USB port or can can be plugged in to my lap top which I have in my shop. The wireless speaker can be up to 25 feet away. it also has a audio port so I can plug it into MP3 satellite radio. I tried it in my modern truck on a 7 mile coffee run to Timmies, sound was totally awesome and never skipped a beat. I'm sold on the idea !!! Some of us like music, some dont. This is the real McCoy if you do Saves having to install speakers in the A. |
