Default Accelerator pedal shaft/carpet grommet

I am looking of pictures of the grommet, used on the carpet, for the accelerator pedal on 52'-53' Ford's and Mercury's. I am trying to establish what the original one looked, like to replace mine, that is missing. It will be similar to the one used on the dimer switch.

Unfortunately, the parts book don't provide any clarification or diagrams.
