Re: Seat belts
Larry installed seatbelts on Sarah and the outboard straps he attached through to frame, the inboard straps to the body cross member. I trust his judgment, it's the other drivers I don't trust. Drive defensive..............

Re: Seat belts
Tiny; that photo makes me want to leave my Model A in the garage. Even with seat belts, that is a horrific crash.

Re: Seat belts
look to the far right above the tree line, towards the sky and you can see the driver from the car on the left

Re: Seat belts
It appears to me that this was a stunt show and that the drivers did a jump and bail out and let the cars hit head on. I enlarged the picture and don't see either driver. Unless like Mitch said. The driver from the car on the left, flew out the windshield like superman and was trying grab that tall antenna near the ambulance. But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i think he missed.

Re: Seat belts
After zooming up to 400% looks like the guy under the car, on the right, had just finished installing his heavy duty steel channels to secure his light weight upper thin metal body to the much heavier chassis below.
Then he just tagged along holding on to a rope underneath the car, to witness the underneath structural steel deflection upon impact. Hope he survived. On a serious note, thanks Tiny for taking your valuable time to present this most educational photo. None of us ever wish to hear of a Model A passenger getting into "any" type of vehicle accident. Even though accident photos may appear scary, we can never be cautioned too much about highway safety while riding in vehicles that were never designed with Life Safety in mind. |

Re: Seat belts
I had noticed neither one had Model A wheels.
