He has the brackets that hold the piece I am looking for or they would have already been bought.

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

I was promised a call back from their customer service rep on the phone but that never happened.

I am waiting on hold to cancel the order. Im done with them. There are so many ways they could have saved this small order but they must just not care.

This all started with their taking my order and not telling me they weren't in stock. I waited about 2 weeks called them asking if they were lost and they told me they were waiting for a supplier to ship them. Seriously? With todays technology why did I not get a notice of backorder. I would have started making a bracket right then. Now I have to make one and have it painted. It wont match and with the weird angle might rattle. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Anyhow I will never be held hostage by them again. They dont deserve my money. I will make a bracket of some sort to get by but want to have a real set. Is there another supplier of these or do I just have to go with jury rigged brackets. I will not give Mac's my money. its the principle. They dont deserve it.

Ivan
Ivan,

Sorry i missed this one. I've been in and out of the office with some health stuff or i would have looked into this for you. Again my apologizes on how you were treated on this issue.

For what it's worth whenever I order from MAC's I receive an email stating my order "has been received" from a Sales Representative that shows if an item is Back Ordered...

Just had to comment about the "West coast dock strike" excuse. That was settled two months ago and all the backlog freight has been shipped.

That was just someone's BS excuse.

Sacramento Vintage
Bratton's

But there are quite a few more.

You may have to call and talk to a live person to describe the exact part you are looking for. I'd start with Bert's, talk to Steve Becker.
I would do the same. Good vendor to work with. They may even have a good pair of original used ones.

Thanks for the apology and no excuse. This is all I asked for.

That would have saved the deal. I would have started making a temp bracket that day and waited for the new one. Instead I am now rushed.
