I doubt it, but it might allow the vibration to be less restrained. I'd bet you will need to change the clutch disc and maybe the pressure plate. My 29 Tudor was terrible and I didn't want to do the job more than once, so I installed a new clutch disc and a good used pressure plate, both from a swap meet. I also lightly sanded the flywheel with my 1/4 sheet electric palm sander. As long as the tranny was out, I also dialed in the flywheel cover. It was out of specs. It now is as smooth as an automatic.

BTW, the clutch disc and pressure plate that I removed looked perfect.

Yes, but you may have to lift the front of the motor an inch or so.

If you're going to replace the clutch be sure to replace the pilot bearing and check the dimension of the nose of the trans main input shaft where it rides in the pilot bearing. A worn input shaft and a bad pilot bearing can cause some pretty severe chatter.

My new engine with new clutch and pressure plate does the same thing. I can hear the engine bouncing on the crossmember at the motor mount. To tight and she vibs like crazy...loosin the nut on the mount and it pecks around on the crossmember.....im outta ideas short of putting the old after market mount back on...it never chattered with it.

If it has been sitting for quite a while you might give this a shot... it can be a cheap and easy "fix" for chatter.
Remove the clutch inspection cover on the top of the flywheel housing from inside the car and with the gear shift in neutral and the clutch pedal depressed all the way and with the engine running, liberally spray brake cleaner between the clutch and the flywheel face to clean off any accumulated oil. You might be surprised at the results...could help as a temporary fix to reduce chatter.
