Default what to measure for white wall width?

I need some new wide whites and want 4" width. I have firestones on my 36 and from the rim it looks like 3.25" for the white wall. Is it from the rim to the edge of the white wall or?

Thanks folks!

From edge of rim.
Suspect if you are running stock 6.00-16's possibly have to go to 6.50-16 to get 4 "

Didn't think the 4" white came in till 7.0, standard for a 53' crestliner.

you could go custom I guess. You have to be careful to not go too roger rabbit. But I like that old Dick Tracy looking wheels. Guess it depends if you you like it or you care if someone else does.
