Nut size on the generator pulley
Trying to loosen the nut on the generator pulley to drop the belt. It is really hard to get to that nut under the generator. Does anyone know what is the nut size ?

Re: Nut size on the generator pulley
Should be 3/4 inch. At least that what mine is.

Re: Nut size on the generator pulley
Sorry I got that all wrong.
Guess that Covid 19 shot has my mind cloudy today. 1. Nut is 3/4. I use closed end hand wrench on front bolt head. 2. With deep socket and 8 inch extension, with ratchet on the nut in the rear. Last edited by Benson; 03-30-2021 at 11:43 PM. Reason: Corrections to text |

Re: Nut size on the generator pulley
I think the bolt head is hidden by the mounting "ear" or whatever it's called of the generator. But you're right that something weird is going on at the left side, like there are multiple nuts on it.
