1956 Ford F100 wiper motor rebuild
I found two companies that rebuild the wiper motors. One is Classic Wipers and the other is D & M instruments. Has anyone used either company? The price is about the same, I just want to make I go with the right one

There're several companies that sell them new for a reasonable price. CJ Pony Part is one.....

In my opinion, best to go with electric wipers. New Port Engineering makes conversion kits.

Re: 1956 Ford F100 wiper motor rebuild
I installed electric wipers from New Port Engineering in my 56 F100. Could not be happier. I hate vacuum wipers! When you need them they don't have enough vacuum to work and are very unsafe with other cars moving along much faster than when this truck was new.

Are there 6 volt electric wiper systems available? (I'm talking about car rather than truck.)

Re: 1956 Ford F100 wiper motor rebuild
Sorry I know this is an old thread but I cannot send PM. I'm in the same boat with my 59. Did you end up having either company restore your motor? If so how did it go? Thanks
