It depends largely on the year of manufacture. Ford purchased a lot of electrical equipment from different manufacturers in order to insure production capability.

rotorwrench: You are correct but it seems Sparton, as the lone supplier, was able to supply many more dual horns for the passenger production of 33-36 passenger car Fords. I was wondering if Sparton was also the supplier of the light commercial horns? or if Schwarze or another Mfg. produced them? What model numbers were used for the different years?

Sparton, Stewart-Warner, and GMI all produced motor-driven horns (Sparton's was their Model BF) for the first half or so of the 1932 model year and the same horn was used on all U.S.-produced vehicles. When the vibrator horn was adopted as a running change, Sparton was evidently the sole supplier. Again, the same horn (designated Model CF) was used on all vehicles and was carried over for most commercial vehicles and big trucks through the 1934 model year with different mounting brackets depending on the application.

Schwarze made a lot of the single (black ) horns for standard vehicles especially the pick up and panel deliveries.
