Kelsey Hayes Wire Wheels/39 Lincoln Drums
I am a little confused seems to be happening a lot lately. As far as I know if you run 35 Wire Wheels or Kelsey Hayes Wire Wheels . And you are using 40 thru 48 Hydralic brakes including Lincoln brakes. A spacer ring is required to match the earlier drums and Spindel tabs that are on the 32/35 Brakes. I am using new Reproduction 39 Lincoln Brakes. They came with Plates like Spacers . These do not solve my problem as I still back to a flat surface with or without the plates. These plates do have a raised rib on the I.D. is that supposed to solve the problem? Stan

Did you call the manufacturer of the drums? They should have an answer.

I run Kelsey Hayes Bent Spoke Wheels with original Lincoln backing plates, 1935 Spindles and Brake Drums - so NO spacers needed front or rear for me.
