I have a pair of 59A Grancor heads stamped '400' behind the waterneck. Can anyone decipher this to determine what year these heads were manufactured?

That mean they were designed for .400" cam lift. Who knows if they've been milled since, but that's what that number meant when new.

I read somewhere that The Grancor Heads were copies of the Edelbrock heads. Andy was cost effective in a lot of his projects.
