I agree with Marshall. I used a "neoprene" gasket on my aluminum sediment bowl and had 10 gallons of gasoline on my storage shed floor. I doubt that it was Neoprene as I have used Neoprene gaskets in many of my gas tanks with no failures. I use only 100% pure gasoline in all my antique cars.

Are you trying to say you don't believe all those that have had problems?

My two bits, why take a chance, use cork.

(By the way about 9 years ago I used the neoprene set and while the float is still working all these years later the gaskets swelled up and popped out leaking gas, but you may continue to believe I'm lying.)
