It would be interesting to see more about the fuel injection and disc brakes from 1955.

1st I'd like to say that all this time on TJJ I don't know why I never noticed this. Thanks for having me. Always loved early Fords and have lived in the backyard of the company all my life. Ok enough of that.

That car is alive and well somewhere in or near Allen Park, MI. It was used in "Under The Yum Yum Tree" after Jeffries had his way with it and the guy who has will NEVER sell it, although now would be the time, huh? I don't know how I could any more history on it because he and I don't converse any longer (lucky me!) but I know a couple guys that might even get to snap a pic of it for this post. If so, I'll be back...

I don't know about a tribute to the 300 SL Mercedes, I think it's in a class by itself.
