Default AR Muffler Clamp?

I noticed my old copy of the JS talks about an early 28 muffler clamp (muffler to exhaust) that was thinner but my new copy doesn't mention it anywhere. Is this because it was a mistake and there is no such thing or was it forgotten?

Chris: I found the same info as you. Says the clamp was unchanged throughout production, but the two bolts went from fine to coarse thread in August of 29.

Hope you are enjoying that roadster on these hot summer days! mike

Apparently the archives has 10 different drawings of muffler clamps. So my best guess is that there was a variation.

Yes Mike! I'm loving it so much I am looking for another "A"

Original RHD clamps were a lot thinner, than the regular LHD ones. This was to give a little more clearance with the pedals.
