Default Putting an 8BA in an "A"pickup

Do the narrow pulleys for the crank, and water pumps on a 53 flat head take up less space between the motor,and radiator than the wide pulleys. If so is it enough to make a difference?
Also the narrow pulley for the crank do not seem to be available as a new part
Are the wide pulleys less likely to have slipping issues?
Thank you in advance for any input you might have.

I’m dropping in a 8BA flathead in a 29 Roadster pickup. I’ll send pics of a closeup of the pulley area. The wide pulleys are no problem .. but it does get tight. I notched the crossmember quite a bit to get the engine low enough. Running a electric fan to make the belt system even more simple

I suggest you post your questions on;
https://www.jalopyjournal.com/
Jalopy Journal is the hot rod section, Ford barn Model A section is for 4 cylinder based cars and trucks. The owner of this site has asked to keep it that way.

Read up a little. The pre '48 engines go in a lot easier. As others have suggested, go to HAMB, https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/
