Will a round speedo instrument panel bolt up to a tank originally equipped with an oval speedo panel?

No. The indent and nuts are specific to each instrument panel. Also, the dash rail structure is different(what the dash rail mounts on). So, if you changed to a later gas tank, the dash light for the round speedometer instrument panel will not "bolt up". You can cut the structured rail so that the dash light will mount.
