My suggestion would have been to look at the instruction book that came with the car. If you don't have one you should order a report one, they are cheap.

What was the method you used to search? For HA HAs I selected search, advanced search, entered "wiring diagram" and Model A for the forum and hit enter. The very first thread to come up I entered and scrolled down to the same drawing.

MIKE V. Don't know how you did that because I "selected search, advanced search, entered "wiring diagram" and Model A for the forum and hit enter". Tried it four times.

I see two options, Diagnosing Spark Problems & Alternator.

Guess I need you to copy and past it.

Thanks for your response.

Charlie Stephens I do have that book but to tell the truth, I never thought of looking in it. BUT after looking at your suggestion I see that it is for a '28 or that is what I think. It also has one connector just for the tail lights. I am working on a '30 Roadster with cowl lights trying to help my friend. By the way don't know why the word lights comes up like it does.

Thanks for your response!

Bruce of Mn - I really like the garage poster BUT it states that it is a '28 reprint with no cowl lights.

We feel we have figured out that the top part of the light switch (the part that has three round raised connectors) at the bottom of the steering column is the problem. They seem like they are making contact with the round connector in the bottom.

Part is on it's way! Sure hope it fixes the problem.

Thanks for the response.
