Re: 1936 ford cabriolet
Terry,OH. Wow! Thank you so much for providing the Cabriolet folding instructions. I have been looking for instructions like this for my '34. These instructions look like they would apply to the '34 as well as the '36. Thanks again.
Is there a higher resolution of these instructions available somewhere? |

Re: 1936 ford cabriolet
The instructions are offered as a re-print, I believe they are for sale in the V8 Times.

Re: 1936 ford cabriolet
I have looked high & low in my current issue of V8 Times and have not found a source for the Cabriolet folding top instructions. Any help as to where I can purchase an original or reprint of this publication will be appreciated.

Re: 1936 ford cabriolet
I have four pages of an original set of 1936 Cabriolet Top Instructions. They are a little dirty, but they are original. They are very rare !

Re: 1936 ford cabriolet
Love the ""NOTE" about top material cleaning. Rub briskly with an art gum eraser then brush with a whisk broom. Never heard of that before but now it's off to office depot for an "art gum" eraser. Thanks.

Re: 1936 ford cabriolet
I recently acquired a set of wood pieces that go on the windshield posts of my 36 Cabriolet Can you tell me exactly where they go and how to put them on or in the posts.
Thanks |

Re: 1936 ford cabriolet
The wood fits into the inside side of the windshield frame and you use it to screw the garnish molding into place.

Re: 1936 ford cabriolet
Thanks Ken. I see there are holes on the glass frame side. What is the sequence of assembling the glass frame and the wood inside the a pillar and the garnish.
Also, I guess the pointy side of the wood goes towards the top. Can anyone be explicit. I am confused as to the install. Thanks |
