Default 1929 model A engin front pan seal

On the 29 A engine oil pan front upper and lower seal or rope , are they both the same size in thickness ?

If you are installing new rope seals or grub seals like my dad called them soak them in oil overnite makes it easer to install them

And don't trim them, they will squeeze together.

AND -- Don't torque the pan bolts any tighter than 6 ft lbs
