Default The next Idderation of the Int

These are the earliest pictures of the Int I have. The one with my wife and granddaughter, are probably the first. At this point i had installed 52 F1 front axle and steering, replaced the box with a 525 saginaw and a Buick tilt column. During my travels I ran across a custom shop that was installing a late lincoln running gear in a 51 Merc. I bought the Merc running gear complete for 400 bucks and installed the whole Kit an caboodle in the INt . Merc O matic and all. I drove it this way for several years, until the Merc rods started singing..
I pulled the Merc trans and all and installed a 350/350 Chevy and trans, made a drive shaft and hooked it to the merc rear. With 3.3 rear this was a very lively combination . If you Magnify the pic you'll see the engine hoist and air tank in the back. The chevy had an AC pump so I used it as an air compressor. very handy when an impact tool is needed. It also ran a steam whistle I got when working for steam town;
