Update, I just bought 5 Lester 550, 19, they arrived today. I purchased them from TAMs model A in Massachusetts they had them drop shipped to me and they showed up today. I ordered them Monday 2:30pm so it was a surprise to see them already, not really sure how that’s possible. The total was $860 including shipping (I am reusing my tubes they are only a year old). Everyone seems to have the same price, I will try to mount them this week and give you all a road test report, with pictures soon.

Just replaced the Montgomery WARDS Allstates on my coupe with Universals. They are probably not the best I can buy, but for $300 I got four and a barely used muffler.
The Wards tires were so hard that the coupe seems to run smoother now. The Universals are "morning thumpers" though

I got 22,000 miles from a set of Brazilian Insa tires in the 80s-90s.
Happy with Goodyear also.

The INSA tires that came on my 28' CCPU are made in Chile.

No idea of mileage on them and they ride a bit rough at first, but no other issues yet.

I have goodyear on 31 tudor. I kept record of 2nd set and got 39,000 good miles, let them ride another 1,000 miles and they were almost gone. This is my 2nd set of white walls I'm on now and they have been on 18 months and got 22,450. Had blackwalls and got good mileage on them. 29 roadster has firestone ww on it but I only drive it about 3,000 miles per year. Tires are about 4 years old but still look new. but YOU CAN'T BEAT THE LOOK OF GOODYEAR. have fun model A tony LAFAYETTE,LA

Coker Tire Company is a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based company that manufactures and sells vintage-style Michelin, Firestone, BF Goodrich and Uniroyal bias-ply and radial whitewall tires for collector automobiles. Applications include: restored classic vehicles, Brass Era vehicles, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Modern Muscle Cars, Vintage Trucks, Military Vehicles, Vintage Motorcycles, European Sports Cars, Micro Cars, Scooters, Vintage Airplanes, among many others. Though Coker's products retain the appearance of the old tires by using the original, refurbished molds, or new molds built from original drawings, the tires are made with modern materials. Coker Tire was given manufacturing rights by the original tire brands and also has acquired many different tire molds of the original obsolete tires they manufacture. In addition to tires, Coker Tire also offers wheels for collector vehicles. Many Brass Era style wheels are manufactured by Coker Tire in its in-house machine shop, while muscle car and hot rod wheels are manufactured by Specialty Wheel in Portland, Oregon. Coker Tire's line of authentic wire wheels are manufactured by Roadster Wire Wheel. Tire and wheel accessories are also available from Coker Tire, making it possible to buy a complete tire, wheel and accessory package from one source. The company also has a distribution facility in Fresno, California and over 30 distributors worldwide.

You don't need any salt it is true I visited them last fall.

I thought that Sears made the Allstate tires. Monkey Wards tires were Riverside weren't they?

It appears you are correct. Apparently, CA is just a distribution point.

Todd, thanks for the confirmation. Did you tour their facilities, and if so what did you think? I have yet to do buisness with them as my Allstate tires are still holding up....

I like my Goodyear diamond treads. They look great and are wearing "like iron" as well.

Got the tires on and balanced, and went out for test drive. The difference in drivability is night and day. It really makes the car feel like you are in control. The old tires made it feel as if the steering wheel was not attached too well! So far I really like the Lester’s we will see how well they wear.
Some pictures attached 56 degrees here in Connecticut great day for a drive.
