Third Gen early ford parts, thank you.
Hi All,
In late January I posted for information on the dual rear brake rods on my 1935 phaeton. 35Fordtn replied and offered to donate me 4 clevis's towards my project and promptly sent them to me. After a postal delay, I'm pleased to report that I finally received them in Zimbabwe today. To my surprise, Mike from Third Gen V8 Automotive, early Ford parts, had also included a pair of dual rear brake rod anti rattlers, also free and gratis to my cause. I would like to thank him thru this forum for his generous donation and hope the members of this forum will support him in his business, it deserves to succeed. For the record, I also bought a part from Mike thru ebay some time ago, it was posted and recieved, no issues , no drama. Thank you Mike. Wish you all the best regards Viv. Should you wish to contact Mike at Third Gen his contact number is 615-293-9985. |

Viv,
I am glad the parts arrived! I have to admit I feel sorry for you international guys. Parts are hard enough to locate as it is, much less when you live in another country that likely has very little supply |

Full disclosure, Michael at Third Gen and I have become friends, however only because of his outstanding service and dedication to the hobby. Folks if you want genuine Ford parts, NOS parts or reproduction parts consider Michael. If you need service to your generator, starter, fuel pump, transmission, whatever your needs give Michael at Third Gen a shot. Support a family business and a great guy. |

Hi Everyone. I haven't had a chance to do business dealings with Michael. But like Seth, I've become closer because he's a valued V-8 mentor and friend. I wouldn't hesitate a second to have Michael Driskell touch any system of any of my cars.
I hope I'm not getting too commercial here, but it may help someone. If you're looking for help, try Michael's place on epay, he's 1935fordtn, and Third Gen Automotive. You'll find it if you look a little.

Michael is not only good at his business, but he has volunteered a lot of his time for the Early Ford V-8 Club of America as a National Director. The club needs more young people just like Michael to keep on "carrying the torch" for the club. Thank you Michael.

I'd also like to thank Viv W for giving praise to a good vendor. We always hear the bad things about vendors and we are all quick to jump on board with bashing them. Good for you on pointing out a good guy and vendor so that people know there are alternatives to the bad guys.

Michael is a great bloke (that's Aussie for guy). Fast service, great parts and most of all his shipping costs are the best for overseas customers like me. Many thanks Michael for your fantastic service. Regards, Kevin.

Hi again Everyone. The word on the street is Michael will pay anyone $100 to catch and take the pig off his property. Also free goats. So there's that. A nice guy all around!

Michael and Third Gen are an asset to the hobby and a valuable resource.
I appreciate all that he has done for us and for my projects. More vendors could take a lesson from Michael. Thank you ! |

My 35 Coupe is much a tribute to Michael's wealth of knowledge, excellent parts inventory and very fair pricing! NOS bumpers, grille V8 emblem, are just a few of the parts Michael supplied when nothing but the best was needed! I sat at the dinner table with Micheal and his family at a past Regional event - what a fantastic family indeed!

Mike and Third Gen (and his whole family) are wonderful people. He has helped me with some hard to find 32 parts and is always pleasant and straight forward to deal with. I hope he continues to find the parts he needs to do his business - as we all need folks like him. THANKS Mike!

Can't add anything to his business compliments so I'll just say his dad is also a pretty nice knowledgeable guy.
