Re: I need a bulb number
If you don't want to write notes or have to replace reminder bulbs then wire the heater direct to the battery, controlled by an ignition switch controlled relay.

Re: I need a bulb number
GE has a good bulb reference catalog that classified the different bulb shapes with all the different voltages and candlepower figures. They list nearly every miniature bulb they ever made. This is a link to a newer version than the one I have. http://www.csobeech.com/files/GE-BulbCatalog.pdf

Re: I need a bulb number
If the 44, 6V, 0.25A does not last very long or if the knob will not fit in position properly look at the 51, 7.5V, 0.22A the physical difference is the 51 has a much smaller glass bulb.

hose on the bulb cause its way in there. Problem is, being way in there, it does not light up the knob as bright as the long glass ones. I'm not picky, but I don't drive at night so I barely see it in the daytime. I will go to napa and buy a box of = I have found #1847 #316 6v long glass. I know napa will get it. A little bulb ain't the end of my life but I toasted my commercial batt. for leaving the heat on 'three yrs old', bought new commercial $116 for a 6vt? so thats a lot of bulbs for 116 bucks LOL the way I think: Live in New England = defrosters heat wipers and a good ice scraper and possible tire chains if not go watch TV. sam |
