wrist pin bushing ?
On a 59A rod there are two 12 o'clock oil holes and two 9&3 o'clock oil holes
Old bushings and new bushings only have the two top holes. But then the shop manual says drill all four with 1/8 drill (then ream bushings). A little too late but I see Reds Headers picture clearly with two on top and two on the side. Been driving this car all the time and its has only two oil holes on the top. So whats up with that? Two holes or four holes, thats the question?? sam I would know if 50 yrs younger |

Re: wrist pin bushing ?
The answer is 4. However, apparently, 2 seem to work for you.

Re: wrist pin bushing ?
The 8BA con rods have the little bosses on each side of the small end but they only drilled the two holes on the top. Redundant I guess.
