I have been driving Model A's since 1951, some on very dusty roads, on filter and I never had a problem caused by dust in the air. As someone said "Henry didn't think it was necessary" and he was apparently right as so many A's are still running. Jack

Hope I didn't TIFF anyone off, talking about filters. I "feel" that way back they didn't know they were IMPORTANT. Then they began to develop them BETTER & BETTER. In my career, I've seen some BAD effects of dirty air, even GRIT in oil pan sludge!!!

If my K&N filter wasn't doing SOMETHING, why do I have to clean it so often?

Besides being the "Assistant Guru of stuff", Bill is our resident "raconteur" (a person who tells anecdotes in a skillful and amusing way).

Mike Wingski is running a close second in his own way. They both tell some whoopers.

AND, all my "stories" are TRUE ACCOUNTS! If I made them up, they'd be unbelievable!
