As long as I have to put pictures somewhere else (htttp...) and link to them rather than just putting them on here is exactly how long I won't post pictures here.

I can put pictures directly on Facebook and the Jalopy Journal, I'll put them there.

Todd you don't have to link to them on here. Just attach the file and upload the picture in your message.

When I hit the image option I get a URL request for an http address. Then, if I try it in this reply, I get a security problem.

From Tod's post on FaceBook:

This is the block just before the crank is slated to drop in. Painted stock Ford green. Prus Jr. says he hopes to have it ready to run Friday.

Tod, you better stamp it #1, because if it gets mixed up with a painted original , might just gain legs and disappear Congratulations on making FIRST duplicate model a block....ever !

Can't wait to see the aluminum version !!!

The first aluminum block is going to heat treat. I used it to make sure my 1st op fixture also fit aluminum just right and it was good. So far, so good.

One of these days I will get time to put the 5 main aluminum mold together and cast the next aluminum sample. I'm just really busy right now, but I hope things will settle down some soon.

What is the purpose of new blocks ? Is there a shortage of used blocks ? What will they cost ? Wayne

I've just messed around with this on the side for that last few years, but if the orders warrant it, I'll push this project to the front of the line.

Tod,
Down below your message is an extra section labeled "Addition Options" Don't use the little icons above your message. In there is a button labeled "Manage Attachments". Clicking the button will give you the option to attach images from your computer to a post. If you don't see the extra section click on the Go Advanced button.

Hey Tod,
Yup, I'm good at waiting and now, sometimes, even make plans for 'tomorrow' !

There's little doubt that you can do whatever you have time for and put your mind to

It's not easy to find me down, but this 'fixing' 80/90 yr old cast iron blks , has finally twisted my tail, enough so that I WILL wait rather than dumping any more $ into one more rusted out original iron block.

Heck, if I get nostalgic when viewing your brand new 5x5 alum blk....I'll paint it Ford green , eh

Well, it isn't quite all together yet but almost. Video as soon as possible. Hoping for Monday. A few things pulled time away from the build so it had to sit.

I suppose it is just about time to ask again just how many people think they are interested in blocks.
