Default Whitewall Tires

Does anyone know where to find a Lester 30x3 or Lincoln 30x3 1/2 whitewall tire. I need for spares on my 1915 touring. My tires are in good shape but if damaged I don't want to put on mismatched tire. This type is no longer made.

Try placing an ad here and Model T Ford Club of America. Seems to me the white wall tires have been off the market for a loooong time so I would guess your tires are fairly old.

Have you tried Universal Tire? I don't know about Lester and Lincoln, but Universal does sell both 30x3 and 30x3 1/2 white tires. Good luck in your search.

Back in the T era when the change over from white/gray to all black tires they added a black cap to the tires giving them a white/gray sidewall. The black was from the carbon that was added to the rubber to give the tread part longer life and at the time was costly. Later in the 70's(?) thru maybe the 90's some tire companies redid that style tire. This is what he is looking for.
