Re: 1934 roadster dash
Great thread! I have a 34 roadster that is currently "waiting its turn" and I have a 33 Roadster dash. I don't remember if it has the "swappable" panels or not (don't believe so). Even though I have a 34, I do like the 33 style dash.
Thanks for all the great info gang! B&S |

Re: 1934 roadster dash
Early production 1934 Ford. Notice that the Dash Panel is a separate Panel and not moulded into the Dash like on later production 1934 Ford Dash. |

Re: 1934 roadster dash
Late model 1934 Ford Dash showing the section where the Instruments are mounted is moulded in the Dash and not loose like on 1933 and Early 1934 Ford Dashes. |

Re: 1934 roadster dash
Sedan dash's have been modified to fit an open car if one has some fabricating skills. Since the flange that mounts to the cowl is pretty basic, its not that big of a project...I think. Elvis100 has a how to in his roadster thread at the hamb, I can link if interested.

Re: 1934 roadster dash
Here's the roadster thread on the hamb. Its very long, sorry I can not point to the dash portion, but anyone who is building a roadster should study this mans metal and wood skills. I bought new cowl feet from him, look like Henry made them. He makes his own dies and makes amazing stuff with just a small press https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...oject.1092963/

Re: 1934 roadster dash
Boy, Elvis is one metal working genius! All the tools he makes to form metal . . . using just a hydraulic press. Hid postings and associated methods/ideas are well worth the 19-page read.

Re: 1934 roadster dash
I am glad you enjoyed the read. He has built two roadster bodies from tin most folks wouldn't recognize.

Re: 1934 roadster dash
No connection to me but there is a RHD dash for sale or swap for a LHD equivalent on Instagram presently (see image)...
