The only potential problem might be an inexperienced builder not realising the front bolt holes are 7/16" and trying to use 3/8" bolts. I have heard examples where people made this mistake. Luckily not in connection with mounting to an engine stand.

Didn't some of the Ford shop photos show the side mount? I seems I saw something like that.

Don't recall seeing a side mount and I spent a lot of time in shops in my youth. Just sayin'.

No wonder I lusted after it! And on page 34 a revolving engine display stand.... That would have to go in the living room.
