Thanks for the advice, the seller was determined to get it running and kept trying but I didn't push the issue for that very reason. I figured it had been sitting for years and the sludge was deep in the pan. It turns over so I'm optimistic everything will go well but won't know for sure until the pan is dropped.

He actually had a coupled interested parties in the listing while I was there for the 2nd look, it wasn't for sale for very long. Previous owner had a garage in Winterset, Madison County. I believe it went through auction in 2020 and has been sitting around waiting for a restoration, figured if I didn't pull the trigger it wouldn't be there much longer.

I've got a '29AA that I've been working on since I bought it in 1974. Unfortunately, I sold the stake bed in 1982 when I was just scraping by, but I'm now retired and much farther along on many fronts. Keep at it and never, ever give up, just plug away and get it running, stopping and steering. It isn't that difficult.

I hope to have it on the road within a year....but I'm sure that it isn't the first timeline goal I'll likely bust.

It is an aftermarket accessory. Not a PCV simply a breather.
