Default Worthington tra tor

Does anyone have some blueprints or drawing of the Worthington Tractor that was made out of Model A parts? They were used to pull reel type mowers on golf courses in the 20s and 30s.

20's and 30's?? I drove one of those in the early 1970's. Heck, there are probably a few still running somewhere.

I would not think there would be blue prints as they were factory made.(?) I have a friend with one that I have done a little work on.

The January issue of Hemmings Motor News has a two page article on a restored Worthing ton plus factory history. No specs but great article.

I had a Worthington that was based on the B.It used the B radiator shell and hood,Mine was yellow from the time it was new,I got it in the mid 70's from the man that bought it new.He bought it to maintain a new golf course that went bankrupt a few years after it opened. That tractor was meant for mowing and groundskeeping. It was worthless unless it was on flat, smooth, level ground.

Would he be able to get me pictures and measurements? Things like frame length and width, pictures of how the running gear and steering was installed things like that. I read the article in Hemming, that has me thinking about building one with A parts. I know I'm crazy.

They were basically a glorified doodlebug. You don't need plans to build a doodlebug!
