new key for door locks or a pop out
Is it hard to get a key made for a pop out or a door handle?

It’s not hard, any good locksmith can make you up keys from the codes on the tumblers

A&L can cut a key by using the number code on your switch or door handle shaft.
Not all lock shops have the Model A codes to cut the keys by using these numbers. |

Re: new key for door locks or a pop out
Glenn,
The door lock should be no problem, it most likely is a B1 blank and any good lock & key shop should have the blanks if you are not concerned about the original shape of the key. If you want the original shape then as Tom said contact A&L in Canton, Conn. If your popout is original then the same above applies, however if it is a replacement made in Spain----Good luck. If your locksmith does not have a code book then PM me with the numbers stamped on the lock and I will look them up for you. Thanks, Ed |
