Default speedometer parts

Looking to make my speedometer function and all I have is the speedometer head. Where can I find the wheel gear, pinion gear, swivel plus clamp and cable. Speedo head is a Stewart.

Thanks

Ebay has a lot of the needed parts listed in the Model T section. Russ Furstnow does rebuilding of the speedometer. Google MTFCA; Russ Furstnow you should be able to find his contact info. Be aware that the parts you need are not cheap, 250-350 for a good swivel. Most all the other parts can be bought new from suppliers such as Lang's and Snyder's. If you don't have the parts catalogs from the suppliers, it's time to get them.
Sorry got my Russ's mixed up. Thank you for the correction.

Russ Furstnow also does speedometer restoration. Russ Potter also does carburetors.

Phil Knighton also has speedometer parts & a very useful site; http://antiquespeedometer.com/

There are charts to tell you exactly what ratios you need for the various parts to work with the head you have.

He is good to deal with as well.

The wheel gear is like new with
- raised script: "Stewart"
- raised script part #: 11077
- No broken teeth
- raised script: 60T(eeth) 8P(itch)

Furstnow's book on speedometers says this is the right gear for the 30" tires.

The swivel joint turns freely. The treads on the swivel to accept speedometer cable and grease cup cap are in excellent condition. Both halves of the swivel joint have the raise script "Stewart" and "Stewart Made in U.S.A 1802" and the number "12003." The angle bar mounting bracket has the raised part number "4007" (1915 - 1916). Also included is the part number T-17270-A, "Extension Stud Tapered" which screws to the spindle arm through the spindle and rides in front of the axle; "Clamp Block Bolt" part # T-17269-AMB, "Clamp Link & Bar" pt# T-17268-B and "Clamp Block" part # T-17269-A. It's a 2-1/2 to 1 ratio so I assume it's a Model 1913 right hand swivel. Referencing Furstnow's book, I'd date the contraption at somewhere between 1920 to '23 but I could be wrong. The 16 teeth on the fiber pinion gear show some wear.

By the way, you may also need a hub with a raised lip the wheel gear rides against which I don't have to sell. The catalog sell the cables.

Drop me a PM if you're still looking.

I agree with your date range, it was probably sold new in the 1919 - 25 era. This set up would work on any T using a Stewart head that used the 2 1/2 to one ratio; meaning 1911 - 1927.
