Default Wiring question

I have replaced the terminal box to generator and the instrument panel harness. The main harness is totally NG. I want to start my engine before I get the main harness replaced. What wires do I need to disable to isolate the main harness and still be able to start? I did replace the pop out for a regular switch.

Disconnect the wire that goes from the cutout to the light switch.

There are not a lot of 'excess" wires in the model A.

Horn
Lights
Generator
Ign

That's it. Here is a drawing so you can see what the wire does that aermotor says to disconnect.

Thanks Bob and Mike, That's what I thought but it seemed too simple and I don't want to smoke any thing.

Yep, for any car with lights, generator, starter and battery, the Model A is about as simple as they come. Had Ford put the light switch in the instrument panel, instead of at the bottom of the steering column, it would have been even simpler.

boy do you have a good point there. it causes endless questions on the Barn. I think most competitive cars had the light switch on the dash though they did have spark/throttle rods on the steering wheel.

It is equally puzzling on why the Ford Co. would have ever secured the steering column to the gas tank as opposed to the dash panel....
