Default Zenith Model float valve

Currently, who sells the best float valve for a Zenith on my 32 Model B?
The one I'm using. has been damaged by the ethenol blend gas and it constantly sticks. Thanks

If it's a "B" carb try Renner's.

Whichever on you buy at whatever price .... re- check and re-check again that it works effectively. I've had all sorts of brand new ones from cheapo to "the best money can buy" and found that whatever you decide on some are OK and some aren't!

The only replacement float valve available is the ball type, -- ( grose jet ) they are known for sticking closed, the worst situation is to stick closed when driving, a somewhat dangerous situation, I am now using a used conventional needle valve.

IF your car hasn't been ran for awhile, tap on the carb, before cranking, to make sure the float valve ISN'T STUCK CLOSED.

Different styles work for different folk as on the 28-31 zenith I have never had a prob with the viton style. Others hate them so go with what works for u. As Brian mentioned there may only be one style available for the B carb.

appreciate everyone's response. the valve in my carb seems to stick rather easily and hitting or tapping doesnot cause it to open. Maybe a bigger hammer, but don't want to make matters worse
Seems replacements are hit or miss, but I'll order one next week. The bratton number seems to be wrong as I can't bring it up on the net catalog
