And now the question.... I've googled and looked through all the usual catalogs... does anyone make the left spindle for the 52 F-1? This one has seen better days...

I would check with some of the OEM and used parts guys, that's how I have acquired them. Original is almost always better. Might post on the HAMB, it is fairly common to change out the front ends and there should be a lot of them around.

I have good spindle, from my 52 F1. Problem is it’s attached to axle and in NJ.

I’d be happy to let you have it. Obviously, it would need to be removed on site.

I'm retiring in 23 days and I bought a '52 F1 2 years ago for one of my projects. Can't wait to get started. Seeing your pictures just make me anxious! Good luck and keep the progress pictures coming.

Congratulations! I did the same thing two years ago, and now have no idea how I found time to go to work!

Thought I should post some progress... I took a 10 month diversion to bring a 1929 Tudor back to life that had been sitting in a lean to carport for thirty years, but Iím back on the truck.... Iíve been working on the chassis restoration and working on the drivetrain...

Very nice! What did you use for frame and chassis finish? Paint? Powder coat?
Thanks.
