Default Insurance Grundy's

I saw an ad for insurance from a company called Grundy ( I think ) for collector cars. It sounded pretty good and I was wondering if anyone had an opinion of or experience with this insurance.

Very reasonable. I've had them for five years. Never had a claim but if you insure multiple cars there's only one blanket liability charge. The collision/ comprehensive is a separate ammendment which saves a lot if you have more than one car.

Just made an application today on their website. I had Grange for years then when Grange dropped my wifes car I had to change. Went with Hagerty last year. Applied Value policies allow you to set the total value of your auto (or truck) and that is the value you receive if your vehicle is totaled or stolen. I had my Merc insured for 30K with Hagerty...Premimum was $472/year. Hagerty includes up to 3 service calls/year with $50 & $100 towing costs paid. Grundy doesn't have this option. However Grundy's cost was $260.50 for $35K coverage with all coverages the same as Hagerty except for the tow reimbursement.

Hope this helps!

http://www.grundy.com/

Try this url. It's their site online. A good friend had a 51 Merc get totaled. Only had insurance with them 24 hours. They paid off his agreed value of $25,000 with no hassles.
