Default 1941 FORD Trunk Lift Supports

Has any one installed the MR. 40's trunk lid supports. I'm having a difficult time figuring our where to put the brackets.

I used them on my cpe. Been on it since 97, in fact I had to buy new shocks a few years ago. But I have a bulkhead so install was different. If I may make a suggestion. What I did was decide where the brackets should attach to the body, the trunk lid is a given, then made temporary brackets with adjustment holes. This allows you to figure it out and make new ones if necessary, for mine it was. If I'm remembering correctly they had a diagram of where they were to be mounted for a stock appearing trunk
