Default Mini Stroke

FYI. While laying under Apatchy checking out brake light switch I suffered a mini stroke. Couldn't speak for a few hours. Thankfully no permanent damage. Feeling fine now but that did get my attention.

Wow! Glad you're ok. Be sure to check it out with your doctor.
Always take one aspirin at bedtime (with doctor's ok).
Keep blood pressure down by avoiding political discussions.

Glad you are ok and hope you are working within your personal safety limits.

Lawson, I saw you post on Facebook about this. Glad all is okay. Best to take things easy, and as someone else said, don't get too wound up on political debates :-)

Lawson - Glad to hear you're okay. Other than booze, do you take any other type of medication?

Scary! Did you go to the hospital right away? How were you able to communicate your situation?

I hope you got checked out. The TIAs are nothing to brush off. They could be indicators of more serious problems.

Lawson, that roll of toilet paper is getting smaller. If you use your finger more, that roll might could last longer.

Seriously, the womens need to get on your Dr to fix up your innards. We need you here, dirty finger or not.

I had the same issue. But they did not find anything. The DR. said it fixed itself. Go figure.
If it would have happened when I was sleeping I never would have known it happened. So now I take a Full strength aspirin and dont worry about it. Worry is the worst thing you can do.

Wife called 911 because she thought I was having a stroke. Yes, taken to ER and admitted over night.

Glad your OK with minimal symptoms. Yes, please go get it checked out. It can happen again and a lot more devastating. Happened to my Father. Had a small stroke, and then later in the day had a devastating stroke.

Lawson, also saw on F/book. Glad you're o.k. . Father in law had a mild stroke 10 years ago. It slowed him down. Before he'd wear out two men working with him. He just turned 86 today. when he goes into the VA he complains he gets tired easier than he used to. They think it might have something to do with him being 86. He doesn't want to hear that!
