Why not have a intro section?
I'm a little curious,There seem to be some apprehension,,it's almost like the Hattfield's and the McCoy's as of late,,
Could intros ease some of the tension? HRP

Re: Why not have a intro section?
The old site did not have them,,also why make this like other sites. This site is quite different than the old. I hope it does not go the way of other sites.

Re: Why not have a intro section?
Please no intro...I am so tired of the intro police on the HAMB.

Re: Why not have a intro section?
The modern intro police are meter maids compared to the intro police of 7-8 years ago...

Re: Why not have a intro section?
I just joined and was looking for the intro. Good to know I won't get busted for not leaving an intro post.

Re: Why not have a intro section?
There's nothing stopping people from introducing themselves on their forum of choice anytime their heart desires. I introduced myself the first time I posted and put pictures in my avatar and album. I don't need a FORMAL venue for that.

It really doesn't matter,,I have come to the conclusion that there will always people dissatisfied with the new format,,and there preconceived notion that anyone that was not a old Ford Barn forum member before Ryan took over the reins from Shelly is and always will be an outsider. This is not aimed at you Model A Lady,,just an observation and feelings expressed to me in a few PM's by others. I've bumped heads a couple of times and I'm sure it will happen again,,both times the problems have all been solved with good communication between party's I've said it before and don't mind repeating myself,,I have used the Old Ford Barn for a number of years,,even made a few purchases but never joined the forums because they were hard to follow. I'm here to stay and didn't come to cause any hard feelings,,I teach if the subject is a familiar one as well as try to learn. HRP

Re: Why not have a intro section?
Why not
Introducing yourself is just good old fashioned good manners. My mommy and daddy taught me that when I was a little boy, didn’t yours? |

Re: Why not have a intro section?
I was a member of the old Fordbarn, no intro needed or wanted as far as I am concerned. Rod
