Default Early 28 Original Interior

With all the talk of original paint and original cars, I decided to post some photos I took at Hershey last year of a car that had an original interior. It may have had original paint, but I did not take enough photos of the whole car. I talked to the owner for quite a while, but didn't take as many photos as I should have. If you do nothing but take pictures, you can't really experience the show. I tried to do both and ended up with not enough photos of this car.

Some engine photos with a unusual heater.

The owner was very proud of the car and could talk endlessly about it. I could not stay as long as I would have liked. I am sure others know more that they can share

Just amazing that interior has lasted --let alone is such great shape.

Good eye Paul! That is an original ford accessory manifold heater.

There was an early 28 Tudor for sale at our club's swap meet today and it also had the original interior. It looked like a pretty good deal to me, but I can't buy another one right now.

Anymore, there is nothing like an original car !
It used to be, that they were looked on, as the easiest to restore.

Here is a link to some additional photos. This type of interior was only used until February of 1928. Thanks for the post. -- Frank Falcone

I like originl cars too. I have an Oct 28 Leatherback which I think has the original interior and possibly original top. The body and top were painted when I bought it so the top color is definitely not originl. Check out my personal albums. Do you think they are originsl?
