Default engine head puller

Does any one with in 50 miles of Manteca Ca. have a Model a engine head puller that I could rent borrow or steal for a couple of hours.I am so fed up with trying to get this head lose or at half of it.The right side(standing in front of the engine) came lose after only two days of screaming cussing and beating on it. The other side will not budge after aweek of oiling pounding wedges and every thing short of trying to blow it off. Please help.

It is probably the water outlet that is causing the problem. Just went through that. Work on that and I think you will be alright

After removing the nuts, soak the studs with Kroil for a day or two.

I used a flat metal paint scraper to squeeze itself between the head and block. Went all the way around head then used a chisel lightly to help further separate the two. I didn't care if I cracked the head because it was prably already cracked anyway. Maybe not the best idea but it worked.
