1933 Ford Pickup Project
City:
Central
State:
Ks
Price:
SOLD
SOLD
This truck was bought in 1955 in Central Ca. and used as a shop truck for his auto repair business . It was driven until 1966. It was involved in an accident and stored until the owner gave it to his son in law in 2015. The son in law had the frame freshened up with a stock dropped axle and reversed eye spring. The brakes were redone with new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, lines and brake shoes and drums. New shocks, king pins, and shackles. It had a F100 steering box installed. It has a new Tanks tank. The frame was sand blasted and painted with chassis black enamel. The motor was rebuilt by the shop owner. From the information given to me it is a 1953 Ford truck engine, rebuilt to Mercury specs. It has an Edelbrock 2 deuce manifold with 94 carbs. The engine turns over . I have not tried to start it. Truck needs to be rewired, It appears most of the wiring was removed when truck was disassembled by the son in law. This is a solid pu with the only rust being in the right front cowl. The rear fenders are very nice,, with 3 small holes drilled in the tails. Has a nice straight rust free grille and hood. Front fenders are unbroken beads with some dents, bed is nice with cargo hooks. Cab is solid and straight, has 36 ford dash and 46 gauges. This is a neat little truck with modifications from the late 50's early 60's. Look at pix and ask questions, I'll answer to the best of my knowledge. More pix are available.
