are the stainless moldings on the mercury same as monarch

Possible that all but the front fender ('49-'51) are the same.

Typos happen but I cannot stand when someone writes of instead of have.
That said, when submitting questions it helps to state the year and kind of car you are working on. and the reason for your question. The more specific you can be the easier and more likely you get the help you need here.

What has this got to do with any thing here.
"80 phill" appears to be a reference to ones personal 'age',not speed.

To get this thread back on track. The OP wants to know about Monarch stainless mldgs. There is a barner in NS who probably has the most original '47 Monarch sedan in the world! I have seen it. If he still monitors this site perhaps he will chime in and put this thread to rest! He could be Lens best friend.. Just sayin' Bill

47 Monarch here not sure about chrome strip except I would like to get the bottom o e for rear passenger fender. Sure would like a look at that other 47 Monarch in Nova Scotia

Ah, 47 Monarch, I was referring to your car as being the most original one in the world!! Haven't seen it in a couple of years, was an acquaintance of the previous owner in Sydney. PM me and I'll tell you where there is a barnfind 47 Monarch coupe in Margaree....Bill
