Default 8BA stuff

I have some intake manifolds and bell housings. I don't know the years of the intakes.
Should I try to find someone who wants these things? Or just scrap them?

I have more junk than room.
Thanks

Posting pictures, and a location other than YEP would sure be helpful.

Offer them up for just the cost of shipping on as many places you can think of. Someone may want them.

If you have some bellhousings, try to see if you have the matching starter plates. It makes them more valuable and much easier to sell. I bolt my pairs together so they stay together. Actually, these days, starter plates are worth more than bellhousings because "everybody" knew that bellhousings were valuable and forgot about the starter plates.

The intakes with broken generator guides are worth about a quarter at the scrappers'. The cost of shipping cast iron ones is about $30 - $40, somewhat limits their appeal.

I got 2 bucks for a stock intake manifold last year at a Model A swap meet. Going again tomorrow with the last of my 8ba stuff. Hopefully I'll at least make the 30 bucks space rent but I'm not holding my breath. Stock 8ba heads, distributors, generator mounts, and other misc parts aren't much in demand but I hate to have to scrap them. And of course if I do sell something or scrap it I'll need it right after I do.

I took a bunch of "ordinary" parts (8RT heads, 8BA Iron manifolds, etc) to the scrap yard a couple of years ago. I unloaded them, and as I was leaving, I noticed that one of the employees was in the process of moving them from the general iron scrap pile to his own little stash by the office.

Obviously, somebody wants this stuff.

“Obviously, somebody wants this stuff.” I just keep piling it up on the floor of the barn. My kids can deal with it when I go tits up.....Mark
